Services

Five services in Singapore, and one that leaves it.

What each service covers, what it includes, and the conditions that decide what it costs.

House moves

HDB, condo and landed

Wrapping, dismantling, the carry, and reassembly at the other end. Priced by load size, not by guesswork about how long it might take.

A half load fits a 10ft lorry or half a shared 14ft. A full load is a 14ft to itself. Most three-room flats sit in between, which is why we ask what is actually going rather than how many rooms you have.

Beds, wardrobes and dining tables are dismantled and rebuilt as part of the job. Mattresses go in covers. Anything glass gets bubblewrap and a corner guard before it leaves the room.

Office relocation

Evenings and weekends

Moved outside business hours so Monday starts on time. Desks, storage, server racks and the filing nobody wants to touch.

Office moves are surveyed first. We walk both sites, check the service lift booking, the loading bay window and the building permits, then quote against what we saw.

Workstations are labelled by seat so they land where the floor plan says. IT equipment travels in crates, not in arms.

Storage

Air conditioned, billed by volume

Collection, storage by the cubic metre with a monthly minimum, and redelivery when you are ready for it.

Storage is priced on the volume you actually use, measured on collection, with a monthly floor. You are not renting an empty unit you half fill.

The move in, the monthly storage and the delivery back out are quoted as three separate lines so you can see what each part costs before you commit to any of it.

Disposal

Same trip, no second visit

Old furniture and clearance loads taken away while we are already there, or as a job on its own.

Most people throw something out on moving day. Booking the disposal alongside the move means one crew, one vehicle and one price rather than a separate call-out a week later.

Whole-flat clearances are quoted on volume after photos or a short site visit.

Packing

Full pack, or materials only

A crew that packs the whole house and unpacks it again, or cartons, newsprint and bubblewrap dropped off a few days ahead.

Full packing is charged per carton with a minimum, and includes the materials. Kitchens and studies take the longest, so they are packed first.

If you would rather pack yourself, we deliver materials ahead of the move and take the empties away afterwards.

International moves

By enquiry, quoted after a survey

Moving out of Singapore is arranged with a specialist partner who handles the freight, the customs paperwork and the agent at the far end. Every job is surveyed first and quoted in writing afterwards.

There is no online price and no instant booking for international moves. Sea and air freight rates move with the route, the season and the volume, so any figure quoted before a survey would be wrong by the time you booked it.

Surveyed before it is quoted

Specialist handling.

We look at the piece, the route out, the route in, and the lift capacity at both ends, then price the equipment the job actually needs.

Pianos

Uprights go on a skate board and, where there are stairs, a powered climber. Grands are legged down, wrapped, boarded and rebuilt on site.

Safes

Weighed and rated before anything moves. Floor loading and lift capacity are checked first, and stair carries are done on a climber, never by hand.

Antiques

Custom crates cut to the piece, corner and edge protection, and a written condition record photographed at both ends.

Artwork

Soft wrap and edge guards for canvas. Anything glazed or oversized travels in a crate, upright, strapped to the vehicle wall.

Oversized items

Marble tops, aquariums and gym equipment that will not fit a lift. Stair carries or a window hoist, with building permission arranged in advance.

What changes the price.

Quotes are built line by line from the same five conditions every time, so you can see which part of your move is the expensive part.

Access

Floor number, whether there is a working service lift, how many flights of stairs, and how far the carry is from the door to the lorry. A twelfth floor with a lift is an ordinary job. A fourth floor walk up is not.

Load size

Priced on what fills the lorry rather than on how many rooms you have. A half load and a full load are two different prices, and the survey decides which one you are.

Timing

Evenings, weekends and public holidays carry a surcharge, because the crew does. Weekday mornings are the cheapest time to move.

Building requirements

Some condos need an MCST permit, a deposit cheque, or a booked service lift. We arrange them, and the admin fee appears as its own line rather than hidden in the total.

Specialist pieces

Pianos, safes and anything needing a hoist are quoted separately, once we have seen the piece and both ends of the route.
